Completed the fourth dog of 2016 and I think he's the most handsome. He's titled: "You Looking at Me?"
I've discovered I'm a much better alla prima painter than a traditional multi-session painter. Once I get the sketch/drawing on the canvas and start applying the paint; if I can push myself to keep going, the finished work is much better than if I worked lots of sessions. I fuss too much and it shows; for instance:
This landscape is months in the making and it's still not quite finished. Too much fussing. Maybe there's a 12 step group for artistic fussing.
